What you actually get

Three things that matter.

The differentiator

The dollar value is in the text

The other text-back tools send "sorry we missed you" and stop. Every lead here lands priced, so you know which callback pays for the day before you dial.

Your number

The number is yours. Period.

Put it on the truck, the cards, the yard signs. If you ever leave, it ports out free — that's your federal right, and we don't get in the way.

Their side

Your customers download nothing

They call, they get a text. That's the whole experience on their side — no app, no link to install, nothing to explain.

One plan. No tiers.

Podium starts around $399 a month on a twelve-month contract. Birdeye wants a year up front too. They sell a software suite and a signature. This does one job — the missed call.

$49.99 /month Launch pricing

+ $19.99 one-time setup — covers provisioning your number.

You don't pay monthly until it works. The $19.99 covers provisioning your number — it's the only money due on day one. The $49.99 a month doesn't start until WorkCatcher catches your first missed call.

Your first year runs about $620, setup included. The average water-heater replacement is $2,609. You don't need the whole job to come out ahead.

Includes 1,000 talk minutes a month. If you consistently run past that, we'll work out a plan that fits your usage — you will never get a surprise bill.

Questions, answered

FAQ

Do I have to change the number on my truck?+
No. Your WorkCatcher number is a new number that rings your cell — put it on new cards and your Google listing when you’re ready, or use it just for after-hours at first. If your existing number is already everywhere and you want that exact number covered, say so when you message me and I’ll tell you straight where that stands.
What if the price estimate is wrong?+
Sometimes it will be. That’s why it’s a range with “Est.” on the front — it’s a ballpark so you know which callback to make first, not a quote. It is only ever shown to you; your customer is never quoted a price automatically. The recording and the typed-out voicemail sit right there, so you can check it in five seconds and price the job the way you always have.
What does the text to my customer actually say?+
By default: “Hartley Plumbing: sorry we missed your call! We got your voicemail and will call you back shortly. Reply here with details or photos.” It goes out in your business’s name, and you can change the wording to whatever you would have said yourself.
What if they hang up without leaving a message?+
They still get the text back, and the missed call still shows up in your inbox with their number — you just won’t have a transcript or a dollar estimate for it, because there’s nothing to read. Plenty of those callers reply to the text instead, which is the whole point of sending it.
Do my customers have to download anything?+
No. On their side it’s a normal phone call and a normal text message. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
What happens if I just answer the phone?+
Nothing — you took the call, like always. WorkCatcher only wakes up when you can’t.
Who can see my voicemails?+
You. Recordings and transcripts sit behind private links that expire in 24 hours, and we don’t sell or share them. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
What if you go out of business?+
Fair question to ask a one-person company. The number is yours: if I disappeared tomorrow you could port it to any carrier for free and keep it. That’s a federal right under FCC rules, not a promise I’m making.
How long does setup take?+
One message to start. We provision your number and set up your text-back with you personally — typically the same day.

Getting started takes one message.

I'm Parth Shah. I built WorkCatcher, I'm in St. Augustine, and I set up every customer myself — there is no sales team to hand you off to. Tell me what trade you're in and I'll tell you in two minutes whether this is worth your time.

  1. I answer — usually the same day, and it's me, not an auto-reply.
  2. Ten-minute call — I show you a real lead land on a phone.
  3. You're live — often the same day. $19.99, and nothing else until it catches a call for you.
